How to take care of shoes (Part two)

This post is sequel to the first part. How to take care of  shoes

The next point we need to take note of when going care of shoes is the materials in which the shoe was made from.

For leather shoes, polish them to maintain moisture and shine. Also when you sweat in your leather shoes air them out because salt reduces the moisture on the leather shoes and cause them to bend and tear easily.

To prevent sweating in your shoes, wear panty hose or invisible socks.
Try to prevent moisture contact with your suede shoes and use a brush to lightly brush off dirt from your suede shoes.

Fabric or canvas shoes can be cleaned by machine or hand washing. Also stuff shoes when drying them so their shape is maintained.

Clean the insides of your shoes regularly. This is especially very important if odor is a problem in the shoes. Clean them with alcohol or a drop of tea tree oil, an antifungal agent. Take care not to splash to avoid staining the leather.
That’s all you need to know about cleaning your shoes.
