What hairstyle would you debut this week or next week? Do you have an idea? Probably not and that’s why as always we’ve got your back. Because of the humid weather it can be hard to keep a hairstyle that doesn’t allow air to pass through, this is because boogus hairstyles or weaves would start to itch which is something you don’t want (People staring at you hitting your head on the road might just think you’ve lost it and call the police LOL).
A shorter haircut however would be a great look for this week, not only this but big braids, bantu knots and cornrows would make a good look. Below is a list of the hairstyles that we think would be great for you this week so scroll down and have a look;
1. Anita Baker
A shorter haircut is an hairdo to date especially in this humid weather but once you commit to a chop there is no going back. One popular chop that has withstood the test of time is the Anita Baker cut, its being re-vamped over and over again and it still keeps getting better. So if you want to chop off some of your hair then this look would do it for you.
2. Bantu Knots
The Bantu knots have been given different names (rolls eyes) but we over here know it by what it is, The bantu knots is one of those easy and stress-less hairstyles you can carry whether you have long or short hair and for those who use their hair its great because it gives you a bouncy curl when you release the knot. So for some its a double win Wham!!
3. Big Braids
Braids are very popular, no matter what the season it is but the size usually differs. It is only wise that your braids this season take on a scantier and larger appearance this is because bulky braids would cause your scalp to sweat from heat and moist which would result to itching, something you need to avoid at all cost.
This is just as popular now as it was last season and its because its a protective hairstyles, I’ve seen a lot of articles urging people to carry this hairstyle now because its the right time. They say this because corn rows just go backwards and air gets into your scalp without much ado.
Pony tails can be created without sewing in, its a simple hairstyle and all you need is a weave, hair band, old tooth brush and gel. So if you have medium length hair and above all you need to do is create a gap and the middle of your hair, insert the weave, band it tightly with your hair and style it into a burn. Smoothen your edges with a gel or edge control and viola!!! you have a hairstyle that would last a week or two at most.
6. Braid Out
This is an easy hairstyle all you need to the is click on this video and follow the instructions. The braid out hairstyle is best for both natural and non-natural sisters with full length hair, it is easy and usually last up to a week if you used the right products.
