I first heard the word jacquard come out from my grandma’s lips, I knew it to be a lovely looking material my gran ma turned into a wrapper which she adorned for special occasions only. Over at this part the jacquard fabric was once very famous because its rich designs made the wearer look like royalty, although it was expensive every body wanted to have at least two pairs in their iron box ( storage facility in those days).
The jacquard fabric has been upgraded like every other fabric and we can’t seem to get enough of it thanks to brilliant fashion designers who worked tirelessly to create designs that relate to this times. Jacquard are know to have beautiful patterns and designs, many of the patterns include floral prints, boxes and lines drawn in different rich colors.
From two piece to complete suits to blazers there is practically nothing you can’t sew with the jacquard fabric, its really amazing and the texture of the fabric depends on the threading so you can get heavy or light fabric depending on your preference.
