There are so many fabulous Ankara fabrics and when we say this is a good time to pull off style’s like the patchwork we are referring to the sudden love for the Ankara fabric. If you don’t have a trendy style made from Ankara then maybe you should start with the patchwork.
Like every other style, the patchwork is once again being recycled. A few years back it was a hit, everyone wanted a patchwork style and the tailors got their work cut out for them however the buzz died down a bit when many people switched from the Ankara fabric to lace and chiffon. Now that the fashion world has being reborn, the patchwork and many other styles are making a come back and it would be fun to join the trend at this early stage.
For those of you who are still lost on what a patchwork is, here’s a simple way to put it; also known as the pieced work, the patchwork can be called a form of needle work that involves piecing together fabrics to make a large design. Many times it requires separate fabrics but other times all you’ll need is a creative piecing together of the same fabric, either using the same color or a different color entirely of the same fabric.
